well pump running

Question

I have well water and the pump runs all the time. The pump is watered logged and I need to no how to drain the tank and repair the problem. Thank you if you can help.

I need more info on your water system ie
where is the tank located, pump located
etc.

If your pressure tank is waterlogged, then all you have to do is get a portable air tank and re-pressurize it, if the bladder is o.k. This will force the water out of the tank. There will be a fitting just like on a tire, and you can check pressure with a tire gauge. Pressure should be just above your cut-on pressure (probably 30-35 lbs psi). Good Luck!

Not a very good place to have your pump located. That's why it's not legal!!
