I am installing a new dishwasher. I have installed the t connector and am trying to put in a shut off valve in with a compression fitting, But it keeps leaking so afetr 3 or 4 times of re-adjusting. I turn the water back on and the will not stay on it just gets blow off. Any suggetions

Exactly where is all of this leaking occurring? Under the sink, or at the dishwasher end? If it's under the sink, install a two outlet shut off valve on the hot water pipe coming out of the wall. One outlet feeds the sink faucet and the other feeds the dishwasher.

Also make sure you are seating the copper tubing all the way into the compression fitting. Should be about 1/4 of tubing extending out past the ferrule
