I am trying to repair a leaky tub faucet. It's a washer-type faucet, probably 40 years old. I've got the faucet cap and screw out, but can't get the handle off. It doesn't pull or turn off, as far as I can tell. I'm sure there's some simple answer...Appreciate any help. Thanks

One of my daughters has a 1899 built house with solid brick built walls. The ground floor has had concrete floors added over the years and they do NOT have a damp couse or any membrane. The CH system is new except for the pipes to the radiators downstairs. These pipes are set in the concrete floors/screed. The system is a sealed pressurised one. we have a leak from one of the under concrete floors directly down into soil below house. The floors have stone flags or sealed linotype covering. No sign of moisture is visible. How can I detect the area of the leak? Any instruments or tests I can do? Yes I could repipe above ground all the ground floor rads??? But the mess would be awful and the pipes would be visible, uggh.
