Question

My water pressure from the kitchen faucet is low. We didn't like the looks of the old faucet so we replaced it and no change. When we turn on just one knob we have the same as pressure as when both are turned on. This is the only faucet in the entire house that we have this problem.

Thanks, Joe

Take the areator off the front off the spout and see if you have pressure then, if so then clean out the areator.

Shut the supplys off under the sink, disconnect at the faucet, point each supply into a bucket turn each one on and see if you have pressure to the suppply lines.

Let us know what you have.

Hi:im4ku2

The problem may not have been the old faucet. Since you already replaced it and like the one you have, leave it installed.

Remove only the water lines at the faucet from under the sink. Put the lines into a pail and test the flow. The lines, if they were not already replaced with new ones, may be restricted. If restricted, I would suggest replacing them with hose flex.

If the flex lines have been replaced and the water supply valves are fully opened, the supply valves may be restricted. In this case you will need to replace them.

Good Luck,
TomBartco
