Hello ....Lefty, from the kitchen section, said I should ask you kind folks how to stop my faucet from dripping. It is a single handle faucet. It is still a slow drip. (kind of like me)... can i pull this off my self, with your help of course, or will i need professional help...

it is a delta faucet..is has the one handle that you move up to turn it on, right for cold, and left for hot. I am rather clutzy person and new at this doityourself stuff.

Hello Ned,
Delta faucets are pretty simple to fix. First go to your nearest home center or plumbing supply house and get a kit that Delta makes to repair its single lever faucets(be sure its original Delta parts). The instructions are posted right on the package. It includes an allen wrench to remove the handle, all you will need is an adjustable pliers to remove the domed cap under the handle.

Shut the water off to house before you take the valve apart, sudden shower are not that fun.
