Sewer Gas

New construction 1.6gph toilet. Sewer (septic) smell. (not nice) Sniffing around determined that smell is coming from bottom of toilet, where mounted to floor. Maybe ?, wax seal not properly installed? Recommendations please.

Pull the toilet and see if the seal is broken, if so install the new wax and that should fix it.
