vibrating pipes

After flushing toilet we have vibrating in the pipes as the tank is filling.The noise seems to start in the tank and travels about 10 feet along the pipe.I have new pvc piping and a very old Crane toilet.I have heard many thoughts on this problem but would like to know the cause and cure.Thanks....

The fillvalve could be getting worn out, I would replace this with a fliudmaster, there real cheap and easy to install.
See Picture, in the picture the fillvalve in it looks like the fluidmaster.
