When washing machine drains or upstairs toilet is flushed, the basement toilet bubbles and then overflows and/or leaks from underneath. Used 100' electrical snake with a cutting bit. Went thru the clog, could hear the water drain out of the pipe. Pulled snake out and noticed dark hair and fine roots. Put the snake thru again and did not feel a clog. Drained fine for two days, but on day 3 the line backed up again. Should I snake again using a different bit? Should I try chemicals? Every 6 months we use root destroyer(blue crystals)! Help!!

You may has lost some roots when you brought back the snake, they could have hung up down the line, causing the line to continue to plug up on you, if the toilet still leaks from the base, then pull and reset the toilet with new wax ring.
