Hi there, In the spring of this year, one of my pipes under my bathroon sink, sprung a small leak. There was also some water damage to the floor in the neighbouring laundry room. The leak was fixed, the floor scheduled to be replaced. This past weekend I went into the laundry room and the floor was damp again. I could find no leaks anywhere. We have no basement, just a crawlspace, 2-3 feet clearance. I live on the coast of British Columbia, very wet area. However, the past week was very dry, with no humidity. Does anyone know if the moisture could be coming from somewhere else. Thanks

I have a faulty diverter valve in my shower/tub. While the shower is running, water is coming out of the shower head AND the tub faucet. The water from the faucet is hot, so I realize I am wasting water from the hot water tank. My question: is this an easy homeowner repair, or do I need to contact a plumber. I have used this site before to get good advice and put it to use with minor repairs, so I am somewhat knowledgeable. But I realize there is a limit to this. So, should I spend the money and call a plumber or do I try to fix it myself. If I do try to fix it, HOW??
