My pipes are screaming close to the water heater. I thought that the water expansion tank was bad so I replaced it. I do not have a water pressure reduction valve. Help??

Is your water pressure over 80lbs?
connect a pressure guage to your sillcock with a hose adapter. If its over 80 lbs you should have a pressure reducing valve.

2. Is your waterlines undersized at the water heater? Should be at least 3/4" pipe here.

3. Do you have a restriction in the waterline? partially closed valve?
Let me know what you find.
