Sink Trap - Drain misalignment

I'm installing a new sink in basement bathroom. What's the best way to correct a horizontal misalignment of 4 - 6" between sink tail pipe and drain pipe (1 1/2" ABS) coming out of the wall?

Swivel the trap around until you get it in alignment, and install a 45 or whatever if you have to. Good Luck!

Toilet Tank Flapper

Adusting the chain from the arm inside the tank to the flapper in the bottom of the tank is my problem. If I make the chain snug between the arm and flapper, the flapper will only open about one half inch. If I shorten the chain the flapper will open properly but will not close completely. If I lengthen the chain the flapper will not open period. What could be the problem?
