stuck washing machine hose
#1

i need to replace both hoses on my washing machine, however the hoses are both stuck where they connect to the houses pipes.
ive tried wd40 / liquid wrench / torch etc. if i turn very hard... it twists the pipe that goes up into the wall (i assume that bad?).
is there some kind of tool for something like that? i think that vice-grip-pliers may just be making it harder to turn since they squeeze from each side and make the hose connection want to be shaped like an oval.
if it would work, and if anyone knows of a tool that could put equal pressure around the hose connection id love to hear about it. the only other thing i can think of is to saw the pipes off and try and put new connectors on, but i dont know if that would be a nightmare to do or not.
well, id appriciate any advise, thanks, christin

Pipes?
Greenpogo, You used the word pipes twice in your description of the problem? Are the washing machine hoses not connected to faucets (boiler drains or hose bibs) after they come off the washer?
