Reconnecting 2nd floor tub drain

How do you connect a tub drain when you don't have access to the pipes? The tub is on the 2nd floor that I need to replace.

steve03r6, Welcome to the DIY Forums
Only way I can see to do it is either through the lower ceiling or, if there is a wall at the end of the tub, going through there. Tubs aren't solid, so if you go through the end wall you have some room to work. Then you put in an access door for any future problems. Good luck.
