Water Will Not Come Out After Turning On Valve! Please Help.

After Putting Our New Sink In, The Water Was Leaking Out Of One Of The Hoses. We Tighten The Nuts So The Water Wouldn't Leak. Well, We Turn The Valve To Turn The Water Back On And The Water Wouldn't Come On. I Looked To See If There Was A Crimp In The Hoses And There Wasn't. What Should We Do? Thanks!

Disconnect the supply line and point it into a bucket, turn on water and see if you have pressure there.

YUP, thats the one. Plumber 2000 is thinking that the line is kinked or blocked. Try it and see. Post back if you still have problems.

I am sure its too late now but I was faced with the same problem before. I shut off the main valve entering the house to do some repairs. After the repairs were made I turned the valve back on and no water would come out anywhere. Turned out that the rubber washer inside the valve stuck shut and pulled off the shaft it was screwed to. Blocking the flow of water. Had to disassemle the valve to remove the old washer. Which can be replaced without replacing the whole valve. Sometimes nothing is easy.
