water pressure drops at upstairs bath

House has copper pipe, supply to upstairs bath is 3/4". When first turning on the faucet the water comes out full force, then after about 15 seconds there is nothing. Any ideas? I recently just capped off the water supply to the sink in the same bathroom for remodelling the cabinets and counter. In doing so I also removed the air chamber from the sink supplies. Could this have something to do with it? I just bought this house and haven't used the tub, so I don't know how good the water pressure at the tub was before I capped the sink supply.
thx, Don

Plumbing debris (internal mineral deposits) from the re-plumbing has probably partially clogged the aerator on the sink spout and/or the shut-off valve.
Try running the tub spout (no aerator), and remove the sink aerator and run the water without it on the sink spout. Clean the aerator.
If that doesn't do it, take the shut-off valve apart, put a towel over it or a bucket under it, and very briefly turn the water main back on to try to flush it out, too. The air chambers should have nothing to do with it.
Good luck!
Mike
