For San Jose, CA,

I was charged $225 to have a camera service to view my sewer pipe. My big mistake was that I neglected to ask the plumber to record the whole event so I can use it for reference.

I had the same situation on a job we did at a WalMart store.......they ran a jet, vacuumed the lines, snaked, and ran a camera.....then said we never asked for a tape........with a smile, they handed us a bill for 12,000. No kidding......I just laughed at them and said document it. Best they could document was 9,000 for premium time. I wished I was there at the time to oversee the job but, the manager paid the bill.
