Laundry box

Hi all,

Am new to this site and to plumbing as well. I recently had a sewer hookup and got the plumber to plumb lines inder the slab. I told him that I would do any work above the slab like sink connections and venting. I expect I will be posting here quite a bit in the next few days.

My first question is regarding a laundry box. I picked up this nifty little unit that fits into the wall and has connections for water supply and drain. What height should I set it at? Also what type of glue should I be using for connecting the plastic box with the ABS?

Usually above the back panel of the washing machine. I only know it from the long piece that goes down out of the box to trap; 32".

As far as your question regarding PVC to ABS, you will need to find a particular glue that is universal to both components, if they exist.
