silcock vacuum breaker?

On my outside silcock I have an additional piece that I believe is a vacuum breaker. It is similar to the one attached to this faucet http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...entPage=family . Does anyone know if were I can purchase one at, and/or do the thread patterns very? The reason I ask about the thread pattern is with the ”vacuum breaker” removed the threads don’t match up with a garden hose. As always thank you for the advice.

http://doityourself.com/store/miscel...ndfittings.htm Some of these vaccum breakers are specific to the valve they connect to. Fine threads are usually for the valve they connect to. Other vaccum breakers are 3/4" hose threads.

Frostproof faucets offer the same protection..
