Strange draining problem...

I was wondering if anyone could give me a clue as to what might be the problem here. My bathtub and washing machine(the draining water will back up out of the pipe all over the floor) will not drain but the kitchen and bathroom sinks seem to drain fine. We had a sewer system installed a few years ago and I don't know much about them. Also oddly, if I pour water down the kithchen sink, it will back up out of the bottom of the toilet. Im wondering how its possible some things drain while others won't if they all drain through the same sewer line?

Another odd thing I noticed is that if the tub actually does drain, which it will do every now and again, and I flush the toilet while the tub is draining, the tub will stop draining and will then take hours to fully drain.

Thanks for any help,
Kris

Pull the toilet, rent drain cleaning equipment and clear the obstruction from the line. You have to pull the toilet anyway since it is leaking because the wax ring is faulty.

Be careful using a drain cleaning machine; hire a pro if you haven't done this before.

Thanks for the advice. I will probably hire someone but I'm not sure if it's an obstruction or broken tile out in the yard so I'm unsure if I should call plumber or sewer service? I have called and they either do one or the other, but charge me even if they can't fix it.
