question about vents on new plumbing

I'm building a new house in Indiana with a crawl. The question is when I vent my fixtures how far can the bath, toilet, laundry, and sink be from the vent stack? Is it best to run the vents in the crawl to one stack or have several up to the attic and catch the main out the roof?

#2 once the vents are in the attic, how longcan a vent pipe travel to reach the main stack that goes out the roof? pipe size considerations

I cant find the wording in the code that has specifics on this topic. The code is kinda hard to follow.

Tie vents together in attic. Tie drains together in crawlspace.

Regardless of which plumbing code your jurisidiction uses, the plumbing code is very specific about what you can and can not do and the allowable lengths of drains.

As far as how long can vents be, don't concern yourself with this one. There actually is allowances made in venting for extremely long runs, but your house will not fall under this. More of a skyscraper type thing.

Good luck with your house.
