crack in drain pipe

I am not a plumber so please for give me if I make a mistake. I have a small hair line crack in the drain pipe about 1/2 inch above the basement floor and I am just wondering if there is a way to seal this with out replacing the abs pipe.

Kev00, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
A temporary patch can be made with silicone sealer, a piece of rubber to cover the crack, and a couple radiator clamps. Smear the crack with 100% silicone and then cover with the rubber. Clampt it and your done. A note here though. This is not "the right way " to do the job. If you ever sell the house, a home inspector will surely add this to his list of things to be repaired. Good luck.
