Adding a second bath (novice)

Hello,
I would like to add a master bathroom in my house where a present bedroom is, my question is if I am close enough to my other bathroom to use the same toilet/sewer drain line?... See picture below for explanation, also I would "assume" if that is ok that the shower drain would be as well?...

I tried to attach a picture but was unable to do so?... The other "present bathroom toilet" would be 6 feet away and a straight line (no jogs) from the proposed new toilet.

Thanks, Tom

elliet, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
Pictures must be sent from a link. Lots of people here use Photo Bucket.
You also need vents from each fixture. While it may be easy to connect the drains, vents have to go up off the drain and be connected back inot the main drain. See if you can send the pics to us. Good luck.
