Best Way of Bending 1 1/4" PVC

Can anyone advise how I can bend a piece of 1 1/4" PVC pipe slightly less than 90 degrees with about a 12" radius on the bend

PVC is not designed to bend... you should put together needed angle fittings to accomplish the route you intend to make.

I made a 180 (nearly) degree bend out of a 90 degree 1 1/2".
I filled it with sand, then held it in front of my Knipco type heater. I kept turning it, heating it on all sides. Worked fairly well.
I had to hold it about 5 min to keep it's shape until it cooled. (Shoulda tried cold water)
But it was for one of my homemade science projects, not plumbing.
Also, I should mention, (women=take note) this works great on hairly legs!

Wink

I made my own Xmass canes. I put the end of the pvc in the oven. Have also use a heat gun on the pvc to bend it. Make sure you get it hot all over.
