re-use compression fitting

I have to replace a solenoid for my humidifier. The feed from the water line has a compression fitting on 1/4 " rigid copper piping. It just makes it. Can I reuse the compression fitting that's on it, or should I replace it?

compression fitting

You should have no problem if everything lines up, put a little pipe dope on the threads and don't over tighten, [you can tighten more but not less]. Luck.

I always say no to drugs - looks like it's holding...

Anyone else have any problems with the Aprilaire 4040 solenoid? Both mine and my neighbors went bad. His last year, mine this year. Not a major leak, but enough to warrant replacing it...
