ABS Plastic Pipes

Is there anyway to disconnect ABS plastic pipes that have already been cemented together? Thanks

If it was correctly solvent welded, no. You can cut the pipe flush with the socket and use a device that grinds out the remaining piping that is left inside, but it is very time consuming and you must make sure the cutter doesn't not angle in the socket. Otherwise it can prove useless after you take the effort to remove the pipe.

A good solvent weld connection makes pipe and fittings become one when completed.
