Installing Tile Shower Drain(is a vent needed)

We removed a Tub and are converting the space to a tile shower. I am installing a new drain, and I am going to use the existing tub drain pipe. The tube had a vent pipe tied in to the drain. Due I need to install a new drain pipe for the shower. The old shower didn't have one and it appears that all of the fixtures are tied into 1 vent for the whole bathroom.

Each fixture requires it's own vent. The vents all tie into the main ventline after leaving the fixture.
Not sure where you live, however, most areas require a 2" drain for showers (all the way to the main drain). Tubs, even with a shower included, are only required to have 1-1/2" drains. Good luck.
