Shower / Tub leaks

Aloha, I have water dripping out of my tub spout. Can I replace the wahers and rings in the main valve?

If you have two handles (hot & cold) you can remove the stems and replace the washers on the end of the stems. If it is single control, you probably have a cartridge. The cartridge can be replaced. Be sure to mark the top of the old cartridge so you put the new one in properly. Good luck.

I have a Delta control with a single arm. So I can just get a new one? How does it come off?

I have included Deltas website and toll free phone number. You can go to their website and find your model and I believe it has diagrams showing disassembly procedures. Good luck.
