Exclamation kitchen sink with new plumbing wont drain

The plumbing underneath the kitchen sink wont drain. The plumbing was replaced using pvc pipe. with a ptrap. the plumbing appears to be connected correctly but it will not go down the main drain. could it be connected wrong is there a certain angle that you have to have I am not a plumber but this project looks correct before connecting the new pipes the sink had not been used in two weeks can anyone help me?

Assuming that the drain is installed correctly, I would run a snake down the drain to clean the obstruction. If you aren't comfortable with that, call a rooter company.

One other long shot: if it's a new drain that was installed with permits & inspected, the plumber would have plugged the drain to fill it with water (as part of the inspection). If it was 5:00 on Friday, the plug may have been overlooked. Drains can be plugged at a cleanout for testing.
