Front yard water access

:alarm: [I][B]PLEASE HELP!!![/B][/I] I am on a well system with submersible pump, 40/60 D-switch, 10 gal pressure tank and the usual outlets/faucets. Just recently when I turn on a tap, showers or flush the toilets there is an almost immediate hight rate of chatter that reaches a loud level. When this chatter happens the whole plumbing system vibrates almost violently. In the beginning about 2 days ago this chatter lasted for about 2-3 minutes and I think my water supply lines are going to burst. When I turn the main off the noise dissaprears. If I turn the main back on within 5-6 secs after it being off the noise returns. If I wait for about 30 secs there is no longer a noise. What might this be and should I call a plumber immediately??

I want to run a cold water pipe 50' from the main house to an accessory building.The plan was to cut through the slab floors of both the main house and the cabin and exit both buildings the required min. of 18". The difficulty is the most practical area to exit the house sits on rock. To reach soil of 18" requires running the pipe about 5' out from the main house. This would require drilling and perhaps blasting. The option appears to be to run the pipe out about 4' feet from the wall above the ground. According to the code this can be done (Pacific North West - Vancouver Island) if the pipe is insulated and heat applied. My new plan is to run the pipe through a 4' piece of approx. 8" ABS. The water pipe would be insulated with snap on pieces of foam. The interior opening of the pipe would be open to the heat from the main building. My questions: By leaving the end open would this count as the "application of heat"? What is wrong with my plan? Are there other options? Hope this makes sense. Thank you.
