Getting ready to buy a home and the only problem I've come across that has me scratching my head is the low water pressure coming out of the bathtub faucet and shower. When the home was inspected, they found that the water pressure coming from the street was about 60psi. But the plumber who came out and inspected the bathroom plumbing said that water pressure was "adequate". However, still, when I turn the water on in the second bathroom shower, the water trickles out of the faucet and takes 10-15 seconds to build pressure when I turn the shower on and even then probably not sufficient to even take a shower. Have a similar problem in the master bathroom, but not as bad. The bathtub/showers for both bathrooms are exactly opposite, so I won't be able to access the plumbing from behind without tearing one or both of the showers apart. Basically trying to troubleshoot without having to dig into the walls too much. Is there a way to check for blockage or clean the valves without tearing into the walls? The faucet in the second bathroom is a 2-valve setup while the faucet in the masterbath is a single valve. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Greetings all. First time homeowner here, so forgive me if this is an infantile question (the FAQ didn't seem to address it - so I think I'm in the clear!) The issue's pretty basic actually... It seems that water deposites which have broken apart into fairly small pieces are persistantly blocking every cold water outlet in my home. I get nothing more than a trickle no matter what I do. I have attempted to "bleed" them out on several occasions by turning off the valve beneath each sink, disconnecting the line, and then turning the valve back on - thereby blasting little white chunks of "stuff" (and quite a bit of water!) all over the bottom of the cabinets and making an admirable mess! This procedure seems to help for all of a second or two before things go right back to where they were. I thought that it all might work its way through eventually, but it's been three weeks now and my fiance and I are getting a bit frustrated. I'm also worried that this stuff might end up causing problems with the water heater. Any advise as to how we might clear things up? I should probably mention that this is a mobile home which was moved from a farm plot outside of a neighboring town (which I can only assume was on well water). If more info is needed let me know.
