Replacing Fixtures

We have a shower and a whirlpool with Delta faucets. You know the kind that has a clear plastic cut glass look. I can't stand them and I would like my husband to put something else in when he remodels but he says he would have to get a plumber and tear the wall out because the piping won't line up and they are soldered together. Is there anyway around this?

Contact Delta at:

Delta 1-800-345-DELTA (3358)
http://www.deltafaucet.com/

and ask if you can use alternate trim (the stuff that you see) on this faucet. Chances are good that you can.

Funny that was my husbands suggestion this morning. I think I'll have to call them because their website just confused me. Thank you for answering my thread.
