Moving bathroom vanity over to the right 7" question on plumbing

Below is a picture of the inside of my bathroom vanity. I plan on remodeling my shower and extending it 7" in width. I have
9" to the supply handle, can I just leave the plumbing alone ( may have to turn the handle to the other side ) and Ill be fine? Will the trap accomodate this 7" move?

Use a 45 degree slip nut connector and an 1 1/4" extension. You will play with the lengths and angles, but you'll figure it out fairly quick.

Good luck with your project...
