Kitchen Sink Air Gap Gushing

Can someone help me to figure out why water is gushing out of the Air Gap when the Dish Washer is running and how to fix it.
Thank you,
The Xanman

Is the dishwasher drain line higher than the AAV? Do you have room to reinstall the AAV a little higher?

Is this a new installation? If so, the disposer's "dishwasher knock-out plug" may have been left in place.

Hi, Sounds like a hose is plugged. Most likely the one from the air gap to the drain/ garbage disposal. Take the cover off the air gap then you find another little cap remove that and run a stiff wire down the hole into the hose. There are two holes in the air gap the big one goes to the drain that's the one you want. Clear it, put some water down it to flush it out. Put together and give it a try. Make sure you use dishwasher soap the other stuff suds up too much and will cause that problem.
