possible plugged plumbing vents?

I suspect my vents for plumbing/drains are plugged. When the washer drains (pumps water out into the drain) the water levels in the toilets go down. Also some of sinks drain slowly.

Sound reasonable? Getting others opinions before I journey to the roof. If vents are plugged, any ideas on bet way to clear them?

thanks

Yep, get your lug soled shoes on, good ladder and safety gear, and plan on the trek onto the roof. You have a classic vent occlusion. The best way to do in as a DIYer, is to chug it with a garden hose until the blockage gives way. It is a good idea to have someone on the ground (not to catch you) to turn on the water slightly to help wash down what is left over. Be careful up there, as you know falling is fun, it is the sudden stop that hurts bad.
