gas line install

gas line install

I am wanting to install a gas stove where there is no gas line. Can the gas line be a soldered copper line? It is natural gas.

NOOOOOOO

if there is a fire the solder will melt fueling the fire with gas.

never thought of a fire, good call. How about compression fittings? Still copper line.

Use flare fittings on copper gas service lines. I have never seen any other type allowed.
