Salt water and Copper Pipes

I have a Water softener and ever once in a While it leave extra Salt in the system which is pretty strong, it takes a few minutes to run it out of the Hot and Cold systems. My question is this bad for the copper pipes will the Copper pipes start to go bad.

I have been searching the internet to see how copper does with salt but no luck.....

Thank you for any help.

If it's only for a little while, and gets flushed out, it probably won't hurt anything.

You could peruse this site, perhaps email a question:
