Flexible supply line to dishwasher leaking

I have a flexible supply line running to my dishwasher. The connection where the lines connects in the front of the dishwasher is leaking, but it is leaking through the back of the nut on the flex tube. I tried tightening it, and it is coated with teflon, but is leaking through the back of the nut, not through the connection between the 2 connections if that makes any sense. Any help would be appreciated.

You should probably just replace it (the entire flex), as it may have been over-tightened.

And FWIW, I've stopped using flex water connectors. When Watts came out with the 'floodgard' flex, I realized that it was time to go back to soft copper - which was never very difficult to work with anyway - and has never burst as far as I know.
