Sprinkler valve leak - check out my picture

Hi all,
There is a small leak in the pvc pipe leading to one of my sprinkler valves. It is leaking at the elbow joint. You can see it bubbling up water. I drew an arrow in a visible elbow joint to give you an idea of exactly where the hole is. How does one go about changing one of these things?

It would probably be best to start just left of the elbow and rebuild it all the way up to the union. You can save the bottom part of the union by installing a coupling just under it. Use Oatey Rain 'r Shine glue after you prime it. It can be used in a wet situation.

Do I need to cut the pipe or is there a less invasive way to separate it.
