Question Block or RectorSeal--pipe dope question

For the pros who've used both: which product has worked better for on cast iron and steel fittings--this is regarding a hot water heating system? I'm considering either Rectorseal #5 or Hercules Blue Block?

Pipe compound

Rectorseal #5 is one if the best that I've run into, [opinion only], lots of luck.

I like rectorseal #5. People who use blue block or megalock swear by it. Go figure!

I guess..

it's Kind'a like asking what's worth more: two nickels or a dime. They both seem to be very popular. Guess I'll do a coin toss! Thanks.
