Clogged drain? (Generic Clearing Info)

Heres another really good tip. Have to give credit to landlord. Take a water hose from outside and put it in drain then wrap towel around the top of the drain and hold firm. Have someone outside turn on the hose for a minute. Thats it!!

If you like my tips let me know!!

This mimics a product known as "Drain King" in that it is attached to a hose. The Drain King swells to the inside diameter of the pipe then emits high powered blasts of water to unclog the drain. It has proven to be very effective.

Honestly I'd be concerned about a towel allowing blowback or becoming lodged in the drain.

I've heard that these can work too, but be careful that the water doesn't back up into the vent stack ( depends where the clog is). If the hose trick doesn't remove the clog, you could have quite a mess if you don't have some buckets ready.
