Toilet water supply question

I just had to replace the flush valve in my toilet. I Also replaced the flexible water line. Everything is back together and working but I was wondering about the flexible water line. The distance from the valve to the toilet is 9.5 inches and the toilet and valve are offset about 1 inch. I replaced the 12 inch water line with the same, itís a steel reinforced one. The bend in the hose seems tight will I be better off getting a longer supply line which will allow for a looser bend?

Thanks

If it's not kinked, you don't have a problem.

Looks fine to me, too! So long as you don't have any undue stress at the couplings (could cause it to leak), you're OK. And it doesn't look too bad in that pic.
