3/4 supply line for sprinklers

I need to run a 3/4 supply line from the front of the house to the rear to solve a problem with low pressure in the back yard sprinkler system. As far as making the run along the house, should I use copper pipe under ground next to the house, or is it OK to use PVC? Are there different depths that are recommended for each? It will be running along side and within less than a foot of a PVC electrical conduit that leads to a water feature in the back yard.

PVC is fine for outside underground..it is actually the preferred choice...not copper. As for depth..it is the same as copper. I don't live or work in an area that deals with freeze issues..so i can't comment on that spcifically. My local code for me is 12" of dirt minimum above the pipe...but most people rarely follow that rule. I follow it with my inspections, but most homeowners don't.
