Can water main to house have bends?

We currently have a straight line from the street meter underground to where it rises up to the pressure regulator and then into the house. This is placed precisely in the middle of where a new deck will be, and I need to relocate this about 10 feet to the edge of the house. One consideration is that the water pressure is extremely high here; about 150 psi.

Can I reconfigure this so it goes straight up, then does a 45 degree bend, then a straight line to where it intercepts the new location, followed by anotehr 45 degree bend and a final straight line? Or do I have to have the city relocate the water meter so that it can go straight to the house?

Thanks.

It does not need to be straight.
