Gray Ground Water

I have our gray water leaking through the ground about 15 feet from the septic tank. Had the tank pumped and of course didnt help. Ive dug a bunch of holes were the water was laying and didnt find any pipe there but water was flowing in. What is a cheap way to find and fix this problem?

If you can see water flowing in, keep digging in that direction until you find the source. Then we can talk about how to fix it when we know what it is.

On older systems they used to have two dedicated lines; one serving toilets only and the other serving the bathtubs, laundry tubs, lavatory sinks as dedicated gray water with no waste from water closets.

I would dye test the drains in your home to see if this water infiltration may or may not be part of this equation.
