Sprinkler System

Can somebody reccommend an air compressor to blow out my sprinkler lines? I don't need the best one in the world, just one that will do the job. Thanks.

If you can use a compressor for other things, you can buy one of the ones at HD or Lowes for about $100-200. If this will be dedicated for the once a year trudgery, you could use just an air tank charged at the local gas station for a quarter. After my dad passed away, mom insisted on my taking all the tools from his workshop, with the exception of the rather large compressor. I asked why leave that, and she said she may have to pump up her cart tires. Well 80 gallons for a 1/2" gallons of air, twice a year seemed overkill, so I bought her a small compressor about the size of a loaf of bread, and she loves it. It isn't a tire pumper thingy, but a real tanked compressor with a coiled hose and interchangeable tips. Think I paid about $30 for it, and would work find for your system. Look here for an example: http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/...roducts_id=400 and here:http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/...roducts_id=544
