One way to fix broken toilet flange.

I was reinstalling a toilet and noticed that one flange bolt was broken out of the plastic pvc flange. I picked up a fixit
stainless ring at the hardware along with a spacer needed for raising the flange to meet the toilet after installing new
hard tile.

First off I noticed the stainless ring would require me to chip
away the concrete and a some of the tile that had been installed and increasing the fixit time for this rental project
greatly.

Looking at the spacer I noticed the bolt hole layout was the
same as the toilet flange. So I simply siliconed sealed and bolted it to the existing flange with a couple flathead brass bolts.
That established me a new bolt hole for my toilet bolts. It was so much easier then chipping out for the stainless ring.

I am sure that plumber would have pulled something out of his truck that would have fixed it in minutes or he would have chipped out the concrete and tile and replaced the flange and handed me huge bill. I guess I will never know.
