Funny pipe for new hose bibs?
I want to extend an existing hose bib to place faucets in other sections of the yard without running hoses around. I am wondering if Toro "Funny Pipe" (120 PSI) is a workable solution. My thinking is the pipe would connect to the existing PVC leading to the existing bib, then run to the new bibs which would have PVC pipe mounted on 4x4 posts for the new faucets. I currently have a network of hoses! The funny pipe would be buried about 5" deep in a slot in the lawn. Funny Pipe connectors jam into the pipe (no glue or threads).
Does this plan make any sense, or will it not work?

1) If you are in a freezing climate you will need to make provision to drain the pipes.
2) You will need to install anti-syphon (anti back-flow) protection.

Hose Bibs
Without getting into a long drawn out explanation, it is a safety device; just get a Watts 1-A and screw them on all your hose type connections, luck.
