Instant Hot Water Problem

I have a Instant hot water dispenser i installed it about 3 years ago but the tank just started leaking. it is an insinkerator model # GN-3B-10. From reading online it seems like insinkerator instant hots do not last too long. My question is can i just buy a replacement tank without buying the dispenser? Should i buy a different brand? Before this unit i had a franke little butler it lasted over 15 years is the franke little butler a better unit?

I doubt that you can just buy the heating tank. You might check eBay and get lucky, though.

A lot of things built 15 years ago were built a lot different than things are built today, some for the better, some for the worse. Do know that hard water is very hard (sorry for the pun) on instant hot water heaters, soft water extends their life.
