Question Broken water hydrant concreted in the ground

I have a frost free water hydrant that has been concreted in the ground. Something inside of it popped one day, and it has not worked since. Is there any way that I can get a replacement kit and fix it with out having to take it out of the ground?

Yes, they are designed so you can disassemble it from the top. You should be able to get to the washer, etc by just unscrewing the top of the faucet. Hopefully it's something simple... you'd have to take it apart to figure out what's wrong.

(admittedly, I don't have much experience, though I have taken one apart before)

Good luck!
