Hello all, I am roughing in a new tub shower in a slab and I wanted to run a couple of questions by . I am running a 2" branch drain that terminates into a movable (not glued) p trap at a point located behind the tub at a location 18 inches fron the edge of the new tub as per the new tub specifications. I am making a 2x4 box approximately 8"x8" and filling it with sand to cover where the p trap is under the tub. This will block out the concrete in this area when the slab is poured. After the slab is poured I will line up the new tub drain with the p trap and pour concrete over the blockout. Do you see any problems with this, and also am I correct in using a movable p trap instead of a glued trap. If I use the movable trap and concrete over it will this cause problems?Any comments are greatly appreciated..john

Hi, someone in my family accidentally flushed a plastic tampon applicator and clogged up the toilet. I have tried plunging, using a cheap snake, and some heavy duty clog remover, but nothing is working. No other toilets, etc. are affected. What can I do? I have a septic. :wall:
